Terms & conditions
These terms apply to your use of the ScholaroApp public website and, unless a separate written service agreement says otherwise, the school and coaching institute management services offered through it. By using the website or an account, you agree to follow these terms. If you are acting for an institution, you confirm that you are authorized to accept them for that institution.
1. The service
ScholaroApp provides tools for institution workflows such as admissions, classes and batches, attendance, fees, assessments, report cards, homework, timetables, transport, documents and communications. Features, availability and plan limits can vary by product, configuration and subscription. Website descriptions are general information; confirm the specific functionality and plan limits that apply to your account before relying on them.
2. Accounts and access
You are responsible for providing accurate account information, protecting sign-in credentials, assigning access only to authorized people, and promptly telling us about suspected unauthorized access. The institution is responsible for its users' activity and for removing access when a user no longer needs it. Do not share credentials or use another person's account without permission.
3. Institution records and permissions
The institution retains its rights in information and files it submits to the service. It is responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of those records, having the required rights and permissions (including any required parent or guardian permissions), providing notices to students, parents and staff, and setting appropriate access controls. ScholaroApp may use institution records only as needed to provide, secure and support the service and as otherwise permitted by the applicable service arrangements or law.
4. Acceptable use
You must not use the website or service to break the law, infringe another person's rights, compromise accounts or systems, distribute malware, send unlawful or unsolicited communications, or attempt to access data or areas you are not authorized to use. You must not interfere with the service, probe its security without permission, or copy, reverse engineer or resell it except where applicable law permits or we have agreed in writing.
5. ScholaroApp materials
ScholaroApp and its licensors retain their rights in the website, software, branding and related materials. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your institution during the period your account is authorized, subject to these terms and any applicable plan conditions. Feedback you choose to provide may be used to improve the service without disclosing your confidential records.
6. Plans, trials and third-party services
Any applicable price, subscription period, taxes, trial conditions, renewal and cancellation arrangements should be confirmed in the plan or written terms provided for your account before purchase. Do not rely on a general website description as a substitute for those account-specific details. Some workflows may rely on third-party platforms or services; their availability and terms are controlled by those providers, and the institution is responsible for any third-party account or permission it must supply.
7. Service changes and suspension
We may update or modify features to maintain or improve the service. We will make reasonable efforts to give notice of material changes that affect existing use. We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address a security risk, unlawful activity, material breach of these terms, or a provider or technical issue. Where practical, we will give notice and an opportunity to address the issue.
8. Ending use and account data
You may stop using the public website at any time. For an institution account, contact us to understand applicable cancellation, export and deletion steps. On termination, access may end and account information will be handled under the applicable service arrangements, our Privacy Policy and applicable law. Institutions should keep appropriate copies of records they need and arrange any export before account access ends.
9. Disclaimers and liability
The website and service are provided subject to applicable law. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, and website content is not professional, legal, financial or educational advice. To the extent permitted by law, neither party is responsible to the other for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the website or service. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a right or liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded or limited. A separate written service agreement may contain additional terms for a specific account.
10. Changes and contact
We may revise these terms as the service changes. Updated terms will be posted here with a revised date; if a change materially affects existing accounts, we will take reasonable steps to provide notice. Continued use after updated terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. Questions can be sent to info@scholaroapp.com or through our contact page.
